Region 6 has a lot of talented teams in this age group. I just looked at the State Cup and Premier 1 final 8 teams and 8 of the 16 teams are from region 6 and played in the same Fall league. I think Stanislaus is the clear favorite to win State Cup this year but it will be interesting to see how the games play out.

SUSC are my favorites to win also. They are tough. I’m surprised MVLA didn’t fare better, though they had to play SUSC. Ajax and Stockton and Placer play well. Thorns are rapidly improving this season. PSV Union lost one of their strongest players to injury after this past weekend so they’ll have tough time on 2/2. Should be interesting!

Stockton and SUSC are the best teams NorCal and its too bad they will meet in the semi-finals instead of the finals.

Agreed. Too bad SUSC and Stockton meet up in semi’s. Both such strong and physical teams. Whichever one wins should win it all.

Looked at the top brackets for U11 and U12 on 2/2.
Congratulations to these clubs for having teams in both age groups:
    Placer
    PSV Union
    San Juan
    SUSC

I was surprised to see the way Stockton dominated SUSC. I think that was the first loss of the season for SUSC against a team from Nor Cal. #20 for Stockton is an absolute beast!! I was also surprised that Thorn's made it to the finals. I haven't seen them play, but they beat Placer so they must have a really good squad.

I was able to watch all 8 teams play. Almost all the games were close scores. Exciting match-ups. Stockton looks tough. They should win in the finals. Thorns has improved a lot this past year, but Stockton looks dangerous.

I just saw the results from some of the games at San Juan's President Cup and I was surprised that San Juan beat Stanislaus 4-0. Its always so interesting with kids at this age group because you just never know what team is going to show up, especially when you have teams that are evenly matched skill wise.
