You're that self-loathing fella who resorts to homophobic slurs when coherent thought fails you (which is often), right? Welcome back!

LOL. I never left! But you are the former poser named "Overreact" that went back through his entire post history and deleted everything because everyone on the board was teasing you about your devotion to Deza. Just because I told you that you needed to loosen your grip on Deza's nutsack doesn't make me homophobic, although looks it like you took the advice and the grip has been loosened, based on your recent posts under your new handle. Welcome back to you, "Overreact", "Handball" or whatever it is you want to call yourself these days! ;-)

Paranoid too. You changed your settings too late. You already said too much about yourself and did not delete enough of your prior posts. You should do what Overreact did.

If the two 04 teams can't play an official game anymore maybe the parents can play? Loser can never post on this forum again. That's a hash punishment if you ask me.

Nice to see a local DA team (albeit U18/19) win against a perennially strong Real SoCal team: -- yes, I agree the ref'ing was inconsistent though not abhorrent, but what's with all the jeering from the coach and parents?

Nice win vs. a very good RSC team. Based on the video RSC should have finished those shots and should have won. Such is soccer though.

Very different result when RSC played against Burlingame: 10-0. Kinda hard to watch even just the highlights: -- seems like the best player on BSC is their GK.

Nothing to say that hasn't been said already.

Confirmed no Burlingame teams going to Florida. I even heard EQ was having some issues getting 3 teams to go. Tough trip to make during school and HS season for those playing.

It’s very clear GDA cares little about whether your dd goes to college.

The first thing a coach tells you is keep your grades up. High grades = more academic money. Playing in a week long soccer tournament prior to finals is suicide if u are taking multiple AP classes.

Agree with you 100% on this and that is why my daughter will not be going to Florida. Too close to finals and academics come first.

I hear through a friend Burlingame DA is officially over mid season. Imagine US soccer pushed this but Burlingame directors realized this was the best case. Let the kids play at their appropriate levels. Also, they mentioned MVLA was next in line. If so, not ironic AM ran both so decisions go hand in hand. Anyone have more info on this?

Not surprising on Burlingame; wondering if PSV & All bottom Conference teams will bail mid season?

Heard 2018 DA not expanding age groups (same as this year) & not allowing HS soccer -

Haven't heard anything on no PSV yet. Imagine they are OK right now because younger age groups seem to be competitive.

That's a hard no on HS soccer unlike this year? Smart not to expand yet. They aren't ready for that depth at least in nor cal

    From the DA slides....

    Mission...
"MAKE SOCCER THE PREEMINENT SPORT IN THE UNITED STATES"

(They seem very proud of the GDA showcase event. They spend more slides on survey results and statistics about that event than are dedicated to the 2018-2019 season plans)

    2018/2019 season...
    Age groups
    U-13/U-14 (2006/2005)
    U-15 (2004)
    U-16/17 (2003/2002)
    U-18/19 (2001/2000)
(so DA "fixed" a problem that did not exist and did not fix or adjust the moving from U15 to U16/17 group issue... where do two years of players play when their is only one team and how does this player mix change yearly?)

    Licensing-
March 2018 - analyze coaches licenses
April 2018 - announce timeline for standards to be implemented
(so likely no changes this year, I think they originally said 2020 for requirements to be enforced)

Girls are permitted to play with boys-
(they make a big deal of this though I am not sure a boys DA team would want a girl taking game time from the current set players unless there was no other option)

HS was not addressed in the DA preso, I believe it was said no HS allowed in Q&A

Subbing was not addressed in preso nor Q&A thus an assumption would be it won't change

    Thanks for the report -

Florida Showcase was a success since they leverage all Clubs MUST/MANDATORY bring all teams or risk getting bounced out of DA - Note Burlingame did not attend showcase...yes Burlingame is not good but do know several clubs threaten if full participation wasn’t present

LOL soccer will never be the preeminent sport when avg salary as follows -
    MLS $200k
    NFL $1.9M
    MLB $3.8
    NHL $2.8
John Gruden (Coach) just signed $100m contract...

Girls/boys playing together - literally laughed out loud

Not sure how they will grow this platform not making any changes; especially sub’g, game schedules/out of state for one game, $$$$, & waterdown conferences....throw in No HS and clubs will Keep best players in ECNL.

As of now majority of girls final product is college not the national team.

A mess and will never get it

GDA will collapse because there are no million dollar contracts awaiting women. Geez you can make more at Walmart working 20 hours per week.

What should be done: dump GDA and do what they did before.

    Thanks for the info.

As expected, assuming all this is accurate, it shows they still could care less about what most people think.
