Not only was the refereeing horrible but the fact that Davis borrowed some U12 pdp players from Placer and still through a match to play an easier opposition, is disgraceful at best!

Maybe so. But if you're going to slam someone, your effort loses something if you leave your audience head scratching half way 'threw' the slam.

16 players on Davis bench. Clearly they needed the help due to injuries. Haha.

I love the Sunday evening rants from bitter parents. This one is particularily ironic since it supposedly comes from a Stars parent. AJ got ripped on the old board last year for the same thing on the boys side....after wins on Saturday guaranteed a championship slot, he didn't play the Sunday morning game to win. The poster suggested he was ducking competition. In reality, he was probably playing the 3rd game as a throwaway since it didn't matter....letting players play different positions, etc.

If this is actually a Stars parent, they are pretty awesome. But, my guess is that its someone pretending to be affiliated to make the Stars look bad. Taking credit for tourney wins where the Stars players just guest played and then complaining about guest players on other teams? Hopefully that is genuine...but I sort of doubt it.

For those on the other board last year, remember when someone pretended to be an arrogant Davis parent, drew heat to the club, then switched to being a Boca parent and did the same thing? Did anyone call them out on the "midseason switch"? Nope, instead we all went off on Davis and then went off on Boca. Its just too tempting to rip on clubs.

Don't worry, it's a Stars parent. I heard them say this regarding this tournament and another back in June.

16 on the bench?!?! Wow. Didn't think teams could carry a roster of 27. I've never heard of such a outrage!

Its not as bad as you think....11 of them were forced to BE the bench. They spent the entire game on all fours and the others just sat on them. Punishment for the previous game.

But when you are supposed to throw a game and you don't listen...that is what you get. The Davis coach even had to take out his striker with a slide tackle from behind...which would have drawn a red card if it wasn't for the fact that the ref was busy in goal for the other team. The AR got the game winner with a follow up in 137th minute of stoppage time.

Anyways, whatever it takes to keep the Stars out of the championship....

Clearly once the game gets to the large field (u12) the emphasis should be win first develop second. Do what ever it takes to get the trophies and pad the resume. Borrow Pdp players, throw a game to play easier competition and play only home tournaments. I guess I'm surprised all clubs aren't using this winning formula. Win baby!

A lot more important things to teach our youth other than simply winning, such as character, morals, and ethics!

Or how to post as multiple people on an internet board without such an obvious "tell"!
