You address "Premier 02" but reply to me (kickingandscreaming). Not sure about "Premier 02", but if you were referring to me, you lose your Sherlock Holmes badge. My girl is very tall for her age and not the most skilled nor the fastest. Do you have anything useful to add? Or, are you just a troll?

These are just little girls, kinda scary that people keep such close tabs on them, being most members are men in this group! Just saying!!!!

Sorry Premier 02, I saw the small player comments and assumed it was your comment without looking. I've seen many of these postings over the years. As I stated for the record, your daughter is a great little player. (SoccerMom, we've played against each other for years, nothing scary about knowing who's talking about who)

Hmmm... I didn't think it was at all creepy... until you just made it that way.

Yep. A bunch of fathers analyzing games and offering opinions about a sport their daughter plays. It doesn't get any creepier than that. Another downside is that our Fantasy Football teams are going to suffer due to our split focus. Now that's just a crime.

Completely agree... Do not make something out of nothing... Just a group of parents talking, about amazing accomplishments, about a group of young female athletes (daughters/granddaughters) playing at a PREMIER level of competition... I'm just saying! One soccer mom to another... Chill out!

If emphasis is put on the Mustang Tournament results, Manteca is too high (1-2-1 and another loss to Mustang in their final game) and San Juan is too low (3-0 in the most balanced group including a win over Manteca and the only loss is to your #2 team in their final game). Also, to clarify, "Bay Area" is better known as Barcelona.

Agree. Manteca is too high, SJ is too low, Santa Rosa and West Coast are also too high (IMO). There's no way you put Santa Rosa and West Coast above EG, SJ or Burlingame.

No worries , I think that little players do well when they are young and as they get older .I think all of us are guilty of talking about wins, rankings, stats etc. We are parents and are competitive. We lose sight that development goes a long ways in future soccer (big or small kids). But in the early years bigger stronger kids usually prevail in the win column .

I think this is closer... but I haven't seen some of these teams. Blues played West Coast this weekend and WC isn't better. They won a close match, but play was even. Having said that, WC gave San Diego a better match. Are they better than MVLA? Santa Rosa still seems too high to me. I think they're Sub 10 and right in there with WC, Stars and Blues.

West Coast only gave SD a tight game because they put their whole team on defense. Not exactly a long-term strategy to win games.

Got it. I don't see a lot of games at this age level so I will defer to you.

I can't argue with that- nor do any better. No one team appears grossly misplaced. It will be interesting to see how these teams develop the next few months leading up to State Cup.

I noticed a San Diego team made the trip to Mustang Stampede. Do many Northern clubs go south? If so, who and where do they go?

I know the last two years, many teams (several in each age group) from So Cal made the trip to Mustang at the U9-U11 age group. Some changes this year kept all but Surf U10 from attending this year. Typically, 2-3 teams from up here go to Surf Cup (San Diego) in August. About the same attended SoCal Blues (San Juan Capistrano) last Labor Day weekend. Not sure about other tournaments.
