I believe so.
Whoa...one of Region 6s longest serving DOCs and Board Member for both Norcal Premier and US Club? If there is something to it, we need a new "Trouble in..." thread.
Did the lawsuit mention Flight K, Davis, Woodland, BOCA, Loomis Storm, Socop, Kidsatplay, or SacAudi?
Not entirely sure, no specifics were available to me. I had heard several conversations in the past about a big number of Sac U families not liking him and another rumor that I don't feel I should post here but in my past experiences with clubs and unhappy families, the club could care less as long as money keeps rolling in. If it is true that he is being removed it has to be something big, not like DeAnza, FCEG, or 2012 Placer United drama. I'm sure more information will come to the light soon enough.
Yes, he has a rep for running hot but its been like that forever. Like you said, if he is out...the reason is big. Not sure how good their teams are, but the club itself is functioning at a high level. Boo fest is well run and successful (parking sucks), and they have developed fields at Granite. They would have a lot of people applying for the job, if its available. Their girls side has never taken off. The boys side has been pretty successful.
Last time we played them it was their boys director I believe coaching them but we didn't think anything of it. We were honestly simply enjoying how quiet it was without him there.
I agree with you both. If he's out it has to be HUGE given his role growing the club's revenues each year. Not to mention what he's done within NorCal. Let's hope we're all speculating on nothing.
Hey gents, with the showcase coming this weekend...any recommendations of certain kids that would be worth keeping an eye on. I have a few names I would like to watch this weekend but wanted to hear other opinions on who to watch this weekend. I love watching Ryan Dieter and Alan Soto from Santa Rosa play, great talent. Another kid that really impresses me with his defensive skills is Zayde Alafranji from Davis. Last but not least Adrian Galeana from Union, another wizard with the ball.
Champions league is all but set for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places more than likely going to Atletico Santa Rosa, Placer, and Sac U. The 4th place will go to either Union, Davis, or even San Juan has managed to get in the conversation. Davis needs 4 points minimum this weekend which would mean stealing a point from Santa Rosa which is very difficult. San Juan has 2 of the toughest games this weekend in which I would think they need all 6 points to have a chance. I would say Union has a small edge since they play the bottom team, are a point up on Davis, and have the tie breaker against Davis. Its gonna be a great weekend.
